Disposal of approximately 270,000 cubic yards of contaminated soils from 19
delineated below-grade sump areas, and replacement with clean coarse sand and
gravel, and site grading of approximately 650,000 cubic yards of clean fill
for storm water control. The aim was to redevelop the POLB property for
future use that has treated or beneficially reusable non-contaminated
soil. It also involved disposal of contaminated groundwater and
ensuring that groundwater beneath the site is not further impacted. · Construction of a temp/perm parking lot, both with marina
